I’m Momoko — a cross-cultural consultant based in Tokyo.
I bridge gaps beyond language. True cross-cultural work goes far deeper than translation — it's about understanding context, anticipating misunderstandings before they happen, and creating genuine shared meaning across differences.
I crossed the ocean in 2011 to pursue a dream I'd carried since childhood: living in Europe. London became my home for eight years, where I earned an MA in Innovation Management from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and conducted doctoral research in Service Design at Loughborough University. This background in design thinking and innovation shapes how I approach every project.
My work has taken me across industries — from luxury beauty to tech, from hospitality to logistics — but the thread has always been the same: connecting the dots, building bridges between people and ideas that seem worlds apart.
I don't just coordinate logistics. I curate genuine connections.
This is my core competency, regardless of job title.
